Make it your own

Discover a named sky, change its palette, drift closer, or pause a moment you want to keep. A full share link carries the settings and captured moment; a sky’s name takes you back to its signature look. No account is needed.

NĒBULA is procedural art, not a telescope photograph or an astronomical simulation. It uses your device’s graphics processor and requires JavaScript and WebGL 2. Rendering speed varies by device. Pause the animation whenever you like; rendering pauses when the page is hidden.

Privacy & local preferences

This is a personal demo operated from the United States. The app has no account system, advertising, or server-side collection of saved skies. Fonts and rendering assets are served with the site.

Your sky settings and whether controls are hidden are saved only in your browser’s local storage, under nebula-graph-v4 and nebula-minimal-ui. They let you return to your previous view. They are not visitor identifiers and are not uploaded by the app. You can remove them by clearing this site’s browser data; private browsing also limits their lifetime.

The app does not set cookies. Sharing creates a link on your device. Anyone you send a link to can open that sky. New full share links put the recipe after the #, which browsers do not send to the host. Older links and ordinary query parameters can appear in hosting request logs; avoid putting private information into a URL.

Visitor statistics

Visitor analytics is not enabled in this build. This app does not send usage events to an analytics service.

Hosting & contact

As with any website, the hosting provider receives network information such as your IP address, browser request details, and the requested address to deliver the site and help protect it. This is separate from the skies saved on your device.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. See the hosting provider’s privacy policy for its data handling and retention terms.
